Event Raises Awareness for Water Safety and Drowning Prevention

August Brings Fifth Annual Drowning Impact Awareness Month

PHOENIX, Ariz. – (July 21, 2008)

For the fifth year, Arizona will unite this August to fight child drownings. Our state is second in the nation for these preventable tragedies, and the searing heat and back-to-school distractions of August make it an especially risky time.
